When the set prospect whose meeting has been planned and booked by SDR does not join on time and expects the same 1 hour, would you or won't you lend?

How'd you manage if you had to hop on to another meeting while the discussion is going good with the prospect and he/she wants to have a POC kinda stuff quick

Any tip to navigate Conversations?

Just be upfront with your time commitments when they join. They're the one who has joined late and if you have a hard stop it may help to actually structure the meeting more efficiently.

That to be honest should be done for any call though.

Then if you can't get through it all it's clear it's their fault for not being on time and you shouldn't have trouble scheduling a follow up

Make it clear you have a hard stop and will be glad to schedule another call for any questions.

If I can I will. If I can’t then I can’t. I keep it simple.

Same. If I can, I might as well. But if I have another meeting right after this one, I just say so from the get go

I do not lend that time. My time is just as important as theirs and I always have other commitments and meetings throughout the day.

Perfect and clear one. Yes, same time, same effort either ways!

Agreed. If someone can't be bothered to show up on time for a pre scheduled meeting there's no way I'm doing them any favours. A) Because my time is valuable and B) I'm not going to start the relationship off on a "my prospect is more important than me" foot.

You know the answer yourself, stop doubting!

What I generally do is, I tell them I understand things came up and I have another meeting that I have to attend at x.

Tell them we can use this call to get into discovery and understand the intent and then book them with for another time.

Most have shown up for the meeting. :)

Depends how it goes really, do say you have a hard stop but if they are really intrigued and it's going well, I'm sure you can lend an extra ten mins.

Yes. That's what I've been doing. You're right here
