Where are you at in your search for a new opportunity?

In the early phase of looking for a new "opportunity" (job.. lol), and am wondering how the rest of you are approaching the job hunt.. Passively, aggressively, or just not even looking?

Every morning I tell myself I need to get a new job, but never do anything about it.. I look at job listings but haven't actually applied to anything I am actively applying to jobs I am not looking for a new job

Passively. I hit a ceiling at my current company, but am in a position where I can still overachieve quota. The morale on my team is in the shitter, so that plus being blocked from moving up, it is time to go.

But, because I am still able to get some accelerators, I am not as actively looking. I basically have my dream role in my head, and if I can land that somewhere then I will leave, but not before.

I've been "fed up" several times, applied to different opportunities, but always found myself saying I'm going to stick it out a while longer.

Mainly worried it would be an "out of the frying pan into the fire" type situation if I left.

I'm at the stage where the job is still exciting enough, but at the same time my company is small and newish and aren't looking to expand for another year or two. So I actively look at the job postings to see what's out there, but am happy enough in my current situation to stick it out for the time.
