So I've recently been hired as sales rep #2, company hire number 14 at a small conversational AI company. I'll be the first rep on the ground in EMEA and responsible for growing the client base/team.
How do you, as an early stage rep:
- Narrow your focus on what is a massive territory/opportunity (i.e EMEA region)
- Organise your day/week so you feel like you're making progress
- Approach and pitch clients when you don't have product market fit and are still working a lot of things out?
Basically, how the fk do keep sane and break down the massive work ahead to feel in control.
