Where’s the love for SDRs/BDRs?

We need a win wire for some meetings booked.


I just booked my biggest account within my territory and I need a damn gong to ring.

I absolutely love my SDRs and I tell them all the time. They should be celebrated by companies for the miles of shit they go through and are def under appreciated.

You’re too damn awesome. My AE is kick ass too - I think it all just comes down to building the relationship as fast as possible and knowing what drives each other. We have a good system in place - I update him probably too much on upcoming potentials and giving him some solid runway of how the chat went and where to steer the disco.

I was a BDR in a former role and most this is their first job out of college and it can be strenuous, AES should be willing to offer to help them in their career and offer feedback where helpful. Keep killing it brother

I used to give all SDRs a little hotel desk bell on their desk - so they could practice ringing the big one. Love this idea!

BDR/SDRs need to be acknowledged more. Its a grind. I started as a BDR after a career change, similar to you, at 29. I'm constantly pumping up the BDRs on our team.

I have much love for my SDRs savages, you guys go through so much sh*t its unbelievable. I always do my best to support and help my SDRs.

At the same time, I do get a lot of crap meeting from my SDR with totally irrelevant "prospects", and deal with a ton of pushiness from the SDR to make it an SQL, so they can meet their numbers. However, 99% of the time this is not really the fault of the SDR (with a few exceptions) but because of crazy targets set by management followed by absurd pressure from same.

Yeah, that’s understandable if they are wasting your time.

I should’ve labeled this thread “Win Wire for SDRs” cause I think it got derailed quickly 😂

But, I do love the support everyone provides to their SDR crew. We’re all fighting the same fight!
