Index Funds are the safest bet. Buffet himself said so. Not just random stock picking.

Have both 'reliable' and 'maximum profit' in the same investment is a unicorn. If there was one thing that was reliably the most profitable that would be the only thing everyone invested in.Β

No problem. I do like talking about investments, but if you had to pick maximum profit OR reliability, which one is more important to you at the moment?

Real estate is the most sound in the sense it's the most tangible investment, but unless you are good at renovating homes it's not likely to give you a maximum return $ wise unless you live there for many years and the area grows over the years

What is the time range? Over the short term, I don't think any are completely reliable, but over many many years, things like the stock market become more of a "sure thing".Β

Oh yes. Long game = stocks. Short term, may be crypto?

Maybe crypto.Β  But again no sure thing. It's volatile, so there's a chance for monster gains or losses in a given day. Just like day trading in general I should say.Β

when invested correctly in the stock market, you should be looking at an average of 10% returns YoY. Real Estate is different and much more active of an investment, but provides great tax benefits and passive income. crypto is crypto. who the hell knows where its going to end up. good investment for money you can afford to lose. might provide insane gains, might completely crash on you depending on what you invested in.

Reliable & Maximum profit is not really synonymous in the Stock Market. The longer 15+ year plays have always been the "safest", but you see slow drips, not maximum profits.Β

In California I can guarantee you it's real estate but might not be the same for other states
