Which one of them should I contact?

Hey guys! Quick question... I am a freelancer, and I am about to send a cold email to a company, but I don't know who to reach out to. I see a lot of people here, I see the VP, Director, Manager, other managers, sales team... I'm confused.


I'm selling marketing services, which one of them should I contact?

oh boy ok, lots to unpack here.

I would think about a few things:

1. who would you ideally work most closely with?
2. Who would see the biggest impact of your services?
3. If you are selling marketing services I would not email the sales team.
4. What do you know about their business and how you would make an impact? Does that impact resinate more with a VP level or a manager level?

I can give you the answer but I would think through those questions and try to determine it yourself. You are going to have to do multiple out reaches so one email wont ruin you.
