Most of these are self-nominated or paid anyway, they mean nothing.
Awards are fake/paid news 100% of the time.
I put 0 weight in any of the above for the exact reason @UserNotFound outlined. Its all pay to play so Im most tired of hearing about all of them.
They're all a bunch of bullshit but the culture award is definitely the one that turns my stomach the most. Culture is also the first thing I care about at a company. Used to be money, learned quickly I'd rather make a bit less and enjoy my coworkers than make bank and hate monday through friday.

Not every single company can be the best places to work. From personal experience, I can tell half of you guys are shit.
Sales people that post an award for doing their job (quota) is pretty embarrassing.

There's so much funny money & absurd valuations in the VC world right now. Drives me up the wall.
Culture award is 100% BS. It may have held more weight back when we were in offices, but now I just care about product market fit and good support
So many company “awards” are paid. Hell, even my own company, I have to scratch my head at how we got awarded or even nominated for some of these, but it’s all about the 💰
