Who do you sell to? How do they like to be approached?

I sell to sales leaders. They love being pampered with some bull-shit, you're so amazing personalized outreach.


On LinkedIn they go hard about personalize this and personalize that, then they say if you aren't making 100 calls a day, you're selling yourself short. Such bs. Email sure, it can be personalized, but I get meetings via phone without ever giving them a gold star first.

In past roles where I would cold call, I always liked starting the call with "Hi, I'm XXX with COMPANY, I know I'm calling out of the blue, and I'll be respectful of your time. INSERT QUICK LINE TO GATHER INFO or PIQUE INTEREST.

I find it lets walls down and generally solicits a good response. Hope this helps!
