Who gets the sale?

A prospect submits three request forms with three different names and the leads are assigned to three different reps. She proceeds to go through the sales process with all three reps.


A week later she decides to buy. When she buys, she gives a rep her real name and says she was using a fake name. Her real name is a lead assigned to another rep who also had a conversation with her.

Option #5: you Track this Person down Liam Neeson in Taken style and waterboard them until they pay WELL ABOVE market price while also hand writing in blood a letter of recommendation to leadership for your superior customer service skills.

This was damn crazy, we look at who the lead got assigned with first and if someone.else from same org signs up, we try to merge. In this case, would surely look at who had the details, correspondance and who got the customer to pay because there was some reason why the prospect went ahead with this rep.

There werenโ€™t any added incentives. They all had a shot; they all talked to her. I say give it to the one who closed it. She obviously was influenced more by the one she called to complete the transaction.

Did this person use different strategies to see which rep gave the best deal? If thatโ€™s the case I would tell her the price is off the table because she robbed 3 reps of their time. And as @funcoupons says. Split it if the other reps are not dickheads.

That shit sucks and Iโ€™ve been on both ends. Itโ€™d really depend on deal size, comp plan, what the product is but best to just let it go to the rep with the correct name and have em buy you a beer
