Who is actually in the top 1% of their org/division/company?

Curious when it comes to comparing yourself to your peers in your org. does Bravado truly have top sales people, or just sales people?

I've been #1 in the whole company at a previous position, as well as #1 on my team and #2 for percentage to (above) quota in an earlier organization.

Current company is too small that those percentiles just don't make sense

Yeah, I thought about that when making the poll as obviously the top seller in largest accounts would be number 1.. but you know what im getting at. Are you the best in your company at what you do or just another one?

as an AE I was always top 25% and here and there would be top 5% in a 2000 person org which isnt too bad. As a manager I have always been top 10% and been top 3 with some regularity

Top 1% every year except my first year and this year. This is my first year missing a quarter ever. And yes, have been #1 multiple years for fortune 1000 companies. I don’t like to toot my own horn but I was curious about other members.

Great question. In a few word answer id say being honest, trustworthy, hard working, and always looking to improve. The greatest of the great of anything learned to love the grind in what they do. So I try to immulate them in a way.

You bet.  I hate losing deals and having light quarters.  I'm on a ramp, though, and have exceeded 2Qs already, completely not expected.  I'm on par with the non-ramp reps.  Cannot complain.

We have presidents club (hitting 110% of quota) but no top 1%. My quota is the collective amount of transactions that my signed clients have processed over the year, so I won’t really know where I am at, quota wise, until Dec 31. We have kind of a weird, somewhat informal setup, I know.

Objectively, some of the very best sales people may not be top of the heap at any given time due to circumstances out of their control.
