Art History major, business minor.

Finished my degree for fun while running my own successful business, raking in around $200k a year. Did the whole thing in under 2 years and 3+ hrs of daily commuting. Summa Cum Laude, and I didnโ€™t have time to sleep on Tuesdays.

ย I was going to keep going but my biggest client decided to pay me too much to stop. ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ

Not me. I always thought I'd be an engineer. But glad I took this turn to sales though

Nope. Graduated with a degree in Theology and started my career as a youth minister...selling God to teenagers.ย

So...I guess maybe a little? ๐Ÿ˜‹

I've only met one person in my 15+ year career that I thought "They grew up wanting to be in sales"

Hahahaha, no.ย  ย Fine Art and Art History majors.ย  ย Sales at the time meant guys in cheap suits hustling lemons at a used car lot.ย  Little did I know...

Was JUST telling someone that sales is never a talked about career path in college when it could be it's own gd major. You need to know about Communication, Marketing, Business, Psychology, Sociology and probably more!

Was a Film & Media major in college so very similar and got this job because I needed the money. Quickly realized a lot of the skills are similar to ones needed in the entertainment industry and have not looked back. ๐Ÿค๐Ÿ”ฅ

If I had have known I was going to get into sales I wouldn't have gone to college. I left 2 years in when I got a decentish paying sales job and couldn't justify the student loan debt. Once I started to gain experience I was able to go from slinging cell phones at AT&T to selling software. If I knew that was my path I'd have avoided college and amassing any student loan debt.
