Why am I suddenly being approached since i changed jobs?

Seriously where were these opportunities when I was actually in desperate need for a change and upping my situation?

So if you were following there was the weird incident with the douche of Ceo on my previous post that his recruiter communkcted the range.

Now i get a whatsapp text from a manager at a competing company that interviewed and ghosted me after 2 interviewes saying yo we have the budgets now are you keen?

I say im always open to explore my options...let me know the next steps.

Again my LI doesn't have the open for work or anything. I just infact changed my LI to the new job...man i don't want to hop to one of those series d companies only to be laid off like the rest of the world...how do i know the situation really is?

In my experience, it's like a hot date or a streetcar/bus - there's nary one to be seen and then 5 show up at once.

Youโ€™re happy where you are? Tell them thank you for the interest, that you have just changed roles and that you would be happy to reach out if/when things change for you.

I donโ€™t think it will hurt. After all, you have to know if itโ€™s worth your time, either now or in the future.

ohhh it's more common than you think, but I always say that unless the company is yours, one should always look for the best for oneself, from the work environment and salary, no one will return the years worked under good conditions and a company I will never recognize your invested years. So if the offer is very good, I would think about it

My guess is that many people realize the in the first few weeks of a new job if it isn't a fit and they are hoping that might be the case.

How many of the people contacting you people you were you previously in contact with? With all that's going on, it could just be a legitimate budget thing. That being said, I wouldn't be to keen to work for someone who ghosted me for months instead of communicating that openly.

1 who told me the budgets out they told me the budgets haven't gone throw actually, felt that i was unfair in the post especially after looking at the WhatsApp texts...his bosses never responded to my emails and the guy was like non committal setting the expectations by asking not to wait. So out of 4 only 1. The other one was slow and when i told him i have a new job he was like darn we were too slow...but already i was like i into remote work bruh but he was like just speak to the MD who we just hired bla bla...

Ive had it happen before. Not sure why. I dont know if switching from a company you just joined is a great thing for the company contacting you.

Sometimes it's very seasonal, some companies let people go for Christmas... then it's summer and no hiring. Sometimes it's just falling into these hiring moment gaps

It's like when a certain type of person sees your wedding ring and you're suddenly attractive to them.
