Would you hire a millennial? I would. Last night I was scrolling through LinkedIn and got deep into a rabbit hole. Saw a guy bashing millennials and how they have no work ethic and use technology as toys?. I feel this is a huge sweeping statement to say that work ethic is only a part of older generations. It’s not exclusive to an age group imo, it’s a mindset and personal determination. I was going to comment but am always weary of kicking up shit publicly. My daughter (a millennial) came home from work (ironically) and we read the post together- she was so annoyed . She works her ass off, works overtime and gets mad praise from her ownership, as do many of her colleagues her age. I also have a girl on our team that literally presented how to improve your professional persona /create your own brand on Social media - to the whole company …in her first week.
can we just stop bashing these kids for the “toys” we provided them? And realize they can teach us to utilize them to create much more impactful content and stay relative?
maybe I’m alone in this?
