Why don’t you just quit already

It seems like every week someone posts about quitting their job. But for every post about actually quitting, there are 5 posts about wanting to quit.


We’ve all seen this scene play out before, either because you’ve been the main character or you’ve watched a friend/coworker go through it:


You’re underpaid, underappreciated, and/or your company culture is a big blaring "Warning” sign (among other things). You want to leave and contemplate an exit strategy, but for whatever reason, you’re stuck and you feel like you can’t make the final leap.

I get why it’s hard to quit for most people. It’s not always easy to walk away from money and jump into a new opportunity where it may take a while to start earning the same. I work on 100% commission so it’s hard to abandon my pipeline until something solid is in place.
