Landed a sales job cuz they were the only roles I could interview for after not graduating. Stuck on for a few things:
1. You get back what you put in
2. Freedom to do shit your way as long as it works
3. Definitely, the money
4. It doesnโ€™t get monotonous, youโ€™re talking to so many kinds of people. For me, itโ€™s almost like Iโ€™m travelling every day except Iโ€™m not. But Iโ€™m still meeting folks from all over the world. Itโ€™s cray cray

I saw it as lucrative and professionally rewarding when it came to business skills/experience

Honestly? I wanted to get better at the skills required to be successful.ย

I donโ€™t like people, and I wanted to be pushed out of my comfort zone ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธย

Earning potential, judged directly on effort put in rather than office politics, job security, I'm outgoing and not afraid of talking to people so why not use those skills.ย

๐Ÿ’ฐ๐Ÿ’ฐ๐Ÿ’ฐ...long term.ย

Found that many aspects of it came naturally, for me. It challenges me. Enjoy the travel.ย

And got 4 kids to put through high school and college...3 girls, so 3 potential weddings. Maybe Iโ€™ll retire when Iโ€™m 80.ย

I chose it because its easy to define and achieve โ€œsuccessโ€. ย There isnโ€™t a lot of grey area for BS politics.ย
