Why the hell did we choose sales?

I'm highly money-motivated and it's probably the only reason I'm in sales. This is a safe place so pls don't hurt me.

We didn’t choose sales. Sales chose us.Β

You just answered your own question. Money.

The job security, flexibility, and drug-like rush you get when closing a sale doesn't hurt, but my answer is still money.Β

Agreed. No corporate roles offer nearly the same emotional rush as sales.

Captain, I use Grammarly regularly! My cheap ass didn't buy the paid version so I guess it may have missed my mistake. Thanks for the heads up, boss.

Honestly, I love solving problems and I enjoy people's stories.Β  BUT, I also love money.Β  It's the other motivations that have kept me going when sometimes the product wasn't there, or the business slowed down, or I had down months in cash.Β  That said, the W2 is the scoreboard.... for sure.
