I sold a 20 GPM separate bed ion exchange system with a carbon pre-filter. The system will be incorporated into a larger wastewater treatment system being provided by another system integrator.
We quoted this a few different ways and ended up selling the configuration the customer asked for in the first place. I'm starting to believe that before you get fancy with a sales idea you should just address what they're asking for first and get fancy later.
I also learned that many facilities can't bring hydrochloric acid onto the factory floor for insurance reasons.
