Working for Revolut

Any of your savages work/have worked/know what it's like to work for Revolut?

Every month or two I get a recruiter reaching out to offer me a BDM job (full sales cycle), but I'm not sure if working for a massively overvalued company is a wise idea... for context they have a valuation of 33Bn with revenues less than 1% of that. @sahil feel free to correct me but I thought valuations were usually around 10-15x EBITDA... not 100x!

anyway working at revolut good idea or bad idea? I'm an SDR at a market leading SaaS company, and I've been banned off Revolut itself, so it's more out of morbid curiosity that I ask

no its as bad as their customer service its alright but people overvalue it, just like their market cap yeah its good-its revoluting! 🐬 🤷‍♂️ 🐬 🤷‍♀️ 🐬

Read their story on Wikipedia. They sound like a highly overvalued company with a lot of connections to Russian finance. Also have a lot of questionable employment practices. To me it sounds like something that could implode at any moment.

Yeah, I got banned from revolut about two years ago on a technicality. I was one of their first customers when they launched and there wasn’t even a customer service number to call.

Recently had a fraud text from them asking me to call their fraud department-over an hour on the phone on hold wasted.

33Bn market cap with only 300m in revenue is insane. As cool as it would be to say I work there, wouldn’t touch with a barge pole
