Working from Home in another country?

Hello Everyone!


I was having conversations with some recruiters for the post of SDR and they told me that I need to be in their country in order to work with their country.


I'm curious, is there anyone here who works for a company which is "Truly Remote" and allow their employees to work from anywhere?


If yes then how did you found it?

My company is truly remote. SDRs of my team are spread across 4 continents. Looking at the market reality I realize how forward of a posture that is. Found them on Indeed.com. If you are persistent and have that goal in your mind, keep digging and you'll find :) wish you the best.

Those I have seen pull it off start in the home country and then move outside. Haven’t seen anyone get a job from the outside.

Yep, Gitlab. Chillin' in Thailand atm. If you're AMER usually the reps go to Cabo or sth. 

My advice is try to do 1 year in your home country before jetting off to another, it's a drag dealin with someone who joins then jumps countries early, they don't focus on hitting their numbers and ramp slower in my experience.

My company lets you work from wherever. If you are planning to move from country A t country B, your OTE might increase or decrease based on the cost of living.

Do you work remotely or at the office? Would you quit your job if you had to go to the office full time? I’d quit immediately. Well as soon as I found another job 😂. Currently, I’m working from home I go to the office once in a while. I can work from any country. I went to the beach for 3 weeks and just took two days off to recover from a festival.
