Working Remotely

Hi fellow sales friends! I have been working remotely since covid and have been stuggling to be as productive as I used to be when I'm the office and sourronded by coworkers. I was wondering what are the best ways to focus and be the best at home? Willing to try anything :)

Make time blocks for tasks so you don't overwhelm yourself. Increments of 1 hour per task works best for me. Even if I don't finish that task, I need to break it up with something else otherwise I lose focus and productivity.

I would suggest trying to be committed to a Calendar and religiously stick to it.

Taking 5/10 mins after every hour works quite well. Getting those little breaks makes a difference, be that a quick trip outside, a walk, calling a friend.

Make time blocks and give yourself short breaks in between time blocks, that way you're productive while also not losing focus after an extended period time.

Like others have said, Time blocks are key. I have 1-hour call block,10 min break, another one-hour call block followed by 30 min break. Then 2 hours email, followed by whatever admin/SFDC maintenance I need to do.

I have a set working space. When I'm in there, it's work. When I leave, work's over. I find office chat is distracting so I often mark myself as busy or log out all together. Focus on one task type at a time to get in good workflow. Today for example I blocked out an hour to do all my follow-up calls and didn't respond to emails til after.

Try shared power hour dials.

You make your own calls but you're on Zoom with teammates, take breaks to chat etc.

I, a while ago, created 'cold call thursdays' in which I got everyone in my team (two sales 11 tech/ops etc) to cold call a company to see how they do.
