Working with 2 AEs as an SDR

Hey all,


Curious to get some perspectives/tips for best practices when it comes to working with 2 AE's as an SDR. I'm a newbie to the role and still navigating my way into managing the relationships/workload.


Want to make sure leads are distributed fairly as possible but also not jeopardising my comms if some are not closing or stuck with one AE.


Would love to hear what works well & what is a no go zone based on everyone's experience!

Enterprise SDR
Make sure to maximize your time in weekly 1:1s with a relevant agenda. Come prepared with results from the previous week and goals for the upcoming week.

Strategize on messaging together to make sure you are on the same page about your approach to each account. Come prepared with a draft of what you want to say, so they can edit/improve on what you already have.

Don't be afraid to ask questions. Your success is their success.

If you are allowed, disperse the leads alphabetically. Give one AE the first half (A-L) and the other the second (M-Z) - depending on how the territories are built out at your company this may work and it may not.ย
