I did search for this topic and did not find it, so don't pounce on me if it's a repeat topic. I've seen the worst call topic, joined in the complaints about stupid LI messages, but how many times have you gotten a cold, automated email trying to get a sale from you?
I just got my first inbound cold email here at this company, and it is a total wreckage of mangled language, bad syntax, ugly font choices, is obviously automated to insert company name (and not edited to remove a redundant word) and, worst of all, the email address does not match the company name in the subject line which also does not match the name of the company in the signature block. So who the heck are you folks? Even if I was interested, I have no idea who you are, outside of being terrible writers. The actual worst of all, why are you sending this to me? I'm a Sales Executive (my actual title) at a mid-sized software company. I'm not interested in purchasing any lists or whatever it is you're selling that has helped random unrelated companies you've included as your enticement to respond. UGH.
So, fellow savages, what's your worst?
