Worst day of the week?

What is the worst day of the week. I sit here on a Monday about to go on my first of 3 two hour calls today about pipe and other things. Then I look at my schedule and think, which day is going to be better. Thursday looks OK, Friday is packed.

So, what day is the worst day of the week? I'm gonna still go with Monday. Meeting heavy and the start of 4 more work days.

Tuesday for me, also. @beerisforclosersย

Monday - trash day in my neighborhood. I love watching them take away all my crap. I look forward all weekend.ย
Wedneaday, week is half over and itโ€™s the day I typically get the best/most responses from people.ย
Thursday - basically Friday.ย
Friday - Drinking at noon for sure.ย

I'm literally laughing out loud. Tuesday is my trash day and I can see them come and empty the cans, love watching thru my blinds. My girlfriend gives me so much shit for being a child about it.

Hell no...today is even more special. We have a trash can cleaning service that comes and does this high-powered spray/wash process once a month. Cans so clean you could eat out of them. Best Monday of the month!

So there isn't just rank, retched smell/juice/blegh all throughout the cans. We keep our cans along a far wall inside our garage...at least til I build a fenced area on the side of the house. HOA doesn't want exposed cans around the property. Getting them cleaned helps the garage from smelling up.ย

100% Tuesday is always the worst.

Monday gives you the opportunity to think and talk about how much better or worse your weekend was than everyone else.

Tuesday is when the honeymoon ends and it actually sets in that you are in it for the long haul.

Wednesday is like finding a 10 dollar bill in your pocket.ย  It gives you a little boost of what's next....

Thursdays used to be great but WFH sucked the fun out of it.ย  Thursdays would always be a great day to go out drinking with your friends after work and then realize 4 drinks in.."Holy shit, tomorrow is Friday!", then do a shot (and maybe call out the next day).

Friday......heaven.

I've tried to counteract it by scheduling gym time mid-day on Tuesdays to blow off steam and come back to finish the day strong, pun intended. ๐Ÿ‹๐Ÿปโ€โ™‚๏ธ

I'm saying today because I'm on a Regional HR call until 9:30. Then a training call from 10-11:30, vertical 12-1:30, vertical 2-3:30, and still have to fill my calendar in SF for the week so my director doesn't have an aneurism.ย

Annoying and same. Forecast call weekly 2 hours, management training 2 hours this afternoon, sprinkle in some 45 minute meetings cause why not a half hour, asshats

I don't typically view positive thinking and managed expectations as mutually exclusive.ย  The positivity of thought has lead me to killing tuesday through friday, and giving maximum grace to myself on Mondays.ย ย

I feel grateful to have a job I (mostly) like but it is depressing to have freedom all weekend (I don't have a partner or kids so I can literally do whatever the fuck I want) and then go back to eight hours of your time being taken up by shit you'd really rather not spend time on.

Every day is a great day - the worst day is when you have to do pipeline call/QBR only to have to go over the same shit you have been telling management every damn day, the numbers that they have been looking at on the CRM... oh how about the days that you have to chase finance/legal to get those signatures or redlines?

Tuesday and it's not even close. Monday's aren't bad since you're just coming off the weekend Thursday and Friday are basically the weekend already. Wednesday is hump day, people have gotten caught up on things and actually are able to talk and not freak out that the weekend is so far away. Tuesday is the pit of doom.ย
