"Hey man, we're actually set. Thanks for the effort though" - After a full blown pilot, the team loving it and nobody but the CEO knowing why it didn't close.
I recently lost a deal to a competitor basically because, competitor had raised 4 rounds of funding and us only seed.
"yeah, Ill take a meeting if you can explain to me how you do this extremely niche and complicated workflow that has nothing to do with our initial disco"
"The payment link is really not convenient to use, I have tried 5 times but I lost patience, we will pass this time" - (noises of someone hitting their head on a desk)
