Worst thing a prospect has overhead while you thought you were on hold?

Look normally I am a stickler for making sure the mic is on mute, but this time I made a mistake.

Haha, this one’s funny. One of my SDR’s typed to β€˜Everyone’ on zoom chat: β€˜This guy is pretty technical’ or something on the lines.Β

The prospect waited till the SDR dropped off and brought it up, but both of us had a good laugh about it in the end

I told my inside rep that was on the call he set up that this person is useless and we need stop wasting our time with her and get to the real decision maker.

Feel like that might be pretty common.Β

I've seen this happen quite a few times via Chat, where one rep is sharing their screen and the chat alert pops up with "WTF is this waste of time call" or something like that.Β Β

Just the past week, I had a colleague "think they were on Mute" and say to their spouse "I'll be there in a bit, I'm on another pointless fucking call about (internal project).Β  She was right, the call was pointless but still....awkward" πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Oooh no I keep on mute. I'm not saying it won't happen to me, but I've been fortunate.Β

Also upvoting this post so I can come back for comments πŸΈβ˜•
