I talk daily to HR departments and even though they recognize that productivity has risen, the board still wants people to go back... incomprehensible but true... I think we will have to start quitting and changing to companies that listen to their employees

Same here! It's insane how many companies what their employees to return to the office. I think there are people on both sides but from what I am seeing and hearing is that more candidates would prefer to work remotely as opposed to in an office. It's going to be interesting to see how it all shakes out.
