at my previous job all the sales were done over stripper's asses and gallons of vodka (worked in government/public sector procurement)
now that I've made the jump to tech SaaS sales I have to use my LinkedIn for actual prospecting.
since this is the first thing that prospects will see when they look me up, and since first impressions count-do you think it's worth spending a couple hundred dollars on a professional LinkedIn photo shoot?
would appreciate hearing what you guys think?
also I can't take the photo myself as I don't know anyone who's good at taking portraits, and my face is weird and needs a longer lens than a typical consumer would have access to.
(the price is around $150 for the cheapest package which doesn't include hair and makeup, rising to around $400 for the most expensive one. I get paid like $70k a year but don't pay rent, phone, healthcare, or travel so it's all disposable money for me)
