You just cold called a prospect for a $40M/deal, wants to meet, what's your next move?

True story. gave him a cold call out of the blue, mentioned how I can help him, and he was stoked.


Told me to send him an email and will lock down a time for next week.


I sent him one, he opened it twice throughout the day, no response.


I called him again just now, he picked up while in a meeting super lax and chill, and basically said he cant lockdown a time right now cuz he's in a meeting but it's on his list of to do's.


It's always super awkward when they pick up during a meeting, after I asked if we can lock down a time right now he said he was in a meeting and rushed me off the phone and clicked.


I would give my left arm to get this deal.


Also sidenote: Managers: If your sdr's are expected to bring in 4m revenue in a month, and your meetings are set up on avg deal size etc and how many meetings they need to hit quota, how are we rewarding sdr's for pulling in whales?


I have permission to use ubereats giftcards too.

PROPER IMPACT... closed a $20m deal with this theatre at pitch stage

Honestly I think an uber eats gift card is like using a cup of water on a house fire at this point.Β 

Do you have the ability to delegate it to your VP of sales and still take the credit? At our company deal sizes over a certain amount (Usually 1m USD) can be escalated straight to the CEO for a meeting as it's considered high value.Β 

My advice would be just go talk to management state this might be out of your depth on this, but still expect them to give you credit, takes the heat off you, gives your credit and let's the seniors handle the future interactions.Β
