You sandbagging??

with the state of the tech sales world, I'm curious if everyone else in here is sandbagging into Q3 or if you're closing your shit like normal. 
I and a lot of my teammates are getting end of quarter deals in this week (thank you accelerators).

I'm in manufacturing, my supply chain and production are sandbagging deals for me.

Shaking my fists in the air because of the supply chain issues…thankfully my team has easily hit Q2 so all the back ordered stuff we are waiting on could just kick our Q3 off with a bang.

That's the silver lining, is that the next quarter (or year in my case) is already stacking up nicely.

It's like a forced deferral of commissions and can actually help smooth out the tax burden over multiple years, I just with I had the choice.

Yea, now I am hearing/seeing that there will be a big zinc shortage through the end of the year.  Last year there was a shortage on zinc and they could only produce 50% to past years and this year they are now telling us they can only produce 50% of the 50% from last year.  

So here comes substantial price increases and scarcity of product with anything that is a galvanized product...so basically all of the steel industry and construction industry.

Not currently but I have no issue with sandbagging. Currently, I'm scrambling to hit accelerators before the 30th.

I've talked about how I take no issue with sandbagging on other threads. Especially if a commission structure more or less encourages it as mine does.

Whenever I have tried to sandbag in the past it has backfired on me. Luckily, I've had sensibly designed commission structures, though. Maybe in the future I will try again but for now I am too freaked out by the unknown. Close it when you can. Enjoy the accelerators and nice job on the EOQ deals!

My company announced a new commission plan for my team starting August 1st. Why they decided to tell us a month in advance is beyond me. Long story short, I'm sandbagging through July too
