This deal took a couple months of putting together. I'm sure everyone has heard about the chip shortage in the automotive space. Lots of companies are forced to try and find stock wherever they can and my company has the capability of finding parts in hard to find places.
Lessons learned:
1) When the market is tough on everyone, especially the end customer who can't build something, KEEP IT POSITIVE and COMMUNICATE OFTEN.
2) Never sacrifice quality for slightly better margin. Make sure you're selling good stuff.
3) Have fun with creating deals. When things move fast you need to be able to adjust quickly, have fun with it.
