We figured if we waited any longer, you’d burn down our site. So here you go:

The Bravado app now has DMs. *round of applause*

From our app (desktop DMs coming in 2035), you can now message each other directly, whether to talk trash about your job, network, or build relationships with mentors and give back to your community. Just update the app to the latest version to access DMs, or download the app if you don't have it already.

Bravado is a place to find happiness and success in your sales career. We’re really excited to see what you all do together now that you can reach out, build even closer friendships, plan world domination...or, just complain about work.

That said, please be nice. DMs are a rare privilege granted to anyone with an iPhone (android users…here). We all know the internet is a safe, inviting place where no one is or has ever been mean, but our lawyers still want us to say: be polite! Don’t harass anyone, don’t spam, and don’t get banned. We don’t want to get hauled before Congress to explain why our DMs feature caused a small riot and the destruction of a Burger King.

Hi there! Our web engineering resources are limited, so we built DMs on iOS first to see if people actually use it. If people do, then we'll build DMs on desktop.

So if you want to see DMs on desktop... start sending lots of DMs through the app😉

Do you have analytics on app users vs. desktop users?

IMO the key to driving engagement will still lie with desktop engagement, but I could be wrong.

everyone I know who uses Bravado uses it on desktop though, not the app. To me, this seems more like an attempt to try and increase app engagement as opposed to innovating the platform users are actually on. Why roll out a feature on the version of the platform least used? Seems like a good way to make sure feature doesn't get used.

Do you have any idea when the app developers will work on an Android App? I thought rolling out apps on Android was easier and cheaper for the creators, my graphic design background taught me that. IDK

honesty, I think they just don't have enough devs. If they did, the desktop app would work better, and DM's would be on all platforms. Plus there would be an android app.

I think until they get more funding to grow the dev team its going to be very slow growing and even slower bug fixing.

That's just kinda how software works though unfortunately.

To be totally honest, it's not on the roadmap. Only ~5% of our mobile web user traffic comes in via Android.

If we ever hit 1 M users, that'd make it worthwhile but until then, desktop/mobile web is your best bet (or get an iPhone so apps can't track your activity on every single site you go to).

We're tracking this and currently working on getting a solution out there before this becomes a problem. We believe that getting this feature out there earlier is better than delaying it for everyone.

Not for now, no; it'd be much easier to commission farm over DMs since our team can't easily see the messages. We are contemplating offering commission for non-War Room activities like adding deals to the Performance Index and getting Seller Portfolio testimonials though!

I HATE THE POINT THAT THEY HAVE SPENT SO MUCH TIME DEVELOPING THE IPHONE APP AND NOTHING ON THE ANDROID APP. I'm actually kinda disappointed now. Please, can we have something worked on that sometime within a year and a half after releasing the iPhone app? Please?
