Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven track record of success in B2B sales, preferably in the technology sector. Experience with software-as-a-service (SaaS) solutions or marketing technology is a plus.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understand their needs, and provide tailored solutions to meet their goals.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and persuasively. Proficiency in delivering compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations.
- Strong negotiation abilities with a focus on closing deals and achieving revenue targets. Capable of navigating complex sales cycles and overcoming objections.
- Comfortable analyzing data and metrics to identify trends, track sales performance, and inform strategic decision-making. Familiarity with CRM systems and sales analytics tools.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including marketing, customer success, and product development, to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing market conditions, customer needs, and product offerings. Willingness to continuously learn and stay updated on industry trends and best practices.

- Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets in previous roles is highly desirable. Candidates with a strong sales performance history, including consistent quota attainment and revenue generation, are preferred.
- An existing network or connections within the sports industry, particularly in hockey-related organizations or leagues, would be advantageous. This could facilitate relationship-building and business development efforts within the target market.

In This Role, You Will:
- Take ownership of the sales process from prospecting to closing deals, actively identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the target market. Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets, contributing to the overall growth and success of the company.
- Cultivate strong, long-lasting relationships with clients by understanding their business needs, challenges, and goals. Act as a trusted advisor and consultant, offering tailored solutions and personalized support to meet their unique requirements and drive value.
- Utilize a consultative selling approach to uncover customer pain points, articulate the value proposition of our client's solutions, and align them with the client's objectives. Collaborate closely with clients to develop customized proposals, negotiate contracts, and ensure successful outcomes.
- Nurture prospects, discover needs, offer relevant resources, learn what they’re looking for, and be able to articulate why the teams are right for them.
- Develop a deep understanding of our client's products, features, and capabilities, staying updated on product enhancements and industry trends. Effectively communicate the value and differentiation of our client's solutions, providing demonstrations and presentations as needed to showcase product capabilities.
- Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, customer success, and product development, to ensure a seamless customer experience. Collaborate on go-to-market strategies, product feedback, and customer insights to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, opportunities, and pipeline management using CRM software. Track sales performance metrics, analyze data, and generate regular reports to assess progress towards goals and identify areas for improvement.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments, leveraging insights to refine sales strategies and approaches. Adapt to changing market conditions, customer needs, and product offerings, continuously learning and evolving to drive success in the role.
