As someone who doesn't drink much anymore, I don't find it appealing anymore. I try to sleep as much as I can and get out and explore the city I'm in. Unless it's Vegas...yuck.

What if there were fitness classes like run clubs, group cycling, etc, coordinated around the show itself? Sign up before the show and get a *nice* shirt for going on the run, or a cool jersey for joining the group cycling rides for the week. Maybe even yoga in a park or a group coffee walk sponsored by a local shop before the day starts.

Make sign up easy with pre-event emails and in-app options to register (for the bigger conferences). You can probably even expense the cost instead of boozing and getting those expenses denied.
