Favorite Classes of All Time 🤓

Hiya friends and foes,

I'm thinking about going back to school, online, just for funsies? I love learning and growing and developing and I've got extra time.

Since I'm not really going for a degree atm, I want to take some fun and interesting classes to just broaden my knowledge and become a more well-versed member of society (lol).

SO MY QUESTION IS- what are your favorite courses you've ever taken? What would you take if you were going back to school? I'm seriously looking for anything, throw it all at me.

Geology? Medieval History? Organic Chemistry? Botany? Greek Mythology? Philanthropy? Anything else ending with a "y"?

Astronomy. Our professor would drink scotch and turn the stars too fast in the planetarium, causing us all to get nauseous. Ah good times. 😎

Yes, but I'm not worried about that. I have quite a few credits I could turn into a degree if I wanted to, but I'm still going to need electives. For the purpose of this question, you can pretend I'm getting all these classes for freesies!

Macroeconomics was one of my favorite and most intellectually challenging classes I took. I think everyone could benefit from more understanding in that arena.

Oooh yes! I took macro in my undergrad. I totally agree, there is lots of value in understanding the general workings of economics.

I took a few music history and theory classes in college and they were some of my favorites.

Art, specifically lithography and oil portraiture, and art history were my favorites in college. If I was to go back now, it would be for a language, because that sounds challenging AND useful.

I have been looking at Hebrew as used in the Bible.

But I have considered History and some other related courses as well.

I wouldn't mind taking a Business Spanish course as well (I'm fluent, but would enjoy a refresher on the business lingo)

Spanish for Business would be sweet and is definitely on my list. I am also fluent and have a minor in Spanish Literature, but I've never done it for business! Seria muy util.

Microeconomics - the economic sense of strippers and how we all sell ourselves one way or the other

Critical Thinking - what is logic, when it makes sense, when it doesn't, building a case and defending it, introduction to the mindfuckery of what smart actually is or is not and how it is all persepective.

Intro to geology - Had a blast going on field trips to various rock formations around california, along the coast, highways, and canyons, and learning about how the earths magnetics affect humans and species and weather and how the planets and moons of each planet effect it in turn.
