Fucking Marketing orders holiday gifts for us to give to our customers. Usually it's a Bluetooth speaker or some sort of travel mug, standard stuff. This year they ordered a million stainless steel coasters w our company logo to give out.

Asked marketing WTF were they thinking. Did they send out a pole? Or did they just get suckered by some bullshit custom ink place.

That's what i've instructed my team to do, not send shit. My plan is to railroad marketing w senior leadership drops by and and asks why the fuck we have 5 boxes of metal bullshit in our storage closet.

Actually, that doesn't sound awesome, but not horrible. We do have some decent swag at our company, but I believe we went with corporate gifts this year.

we did tervis tumblers like 2 years ago, i informed marketing that the US population threw out all of their tervis tumblers in 2010.

We have a third party service we sling gifts through, so we send gifts through that and the prospect can either accept, exchange or donate the gift. Usually I send a Yeti or Lulu gift card
