Lots of autonomy and the work life balance is pretty good. If you are meeting your targets and helping AEs close business, there’s not too much scrutiny.
Pre-Sales organization is very young, and there is no formal solution training, no demo technologies, and solution documentation/sales assets has a lot of room for improvement to help a PreSales Engineer be successful.
About the culture
PreSales leadership is always helpful and willing to escalate, but overall, it everything we do with a customer ends up being an escalation for one reason or another.
Advice for New Reps
Push your leadership on “What’s Next” in your career path early. Get an idea of how you can progress in the role to be successful over time. None of this will be presented to you unless you ask for it (and even then, expect leadership to not have a clear answer without prodding).
