Bitcoin is still a speculative active and it will continue like that until it is accepted as a payment method. Gold is a value reserve, and will continue be like that until Central Banks find any other way of saving value (dollar will no longer be the principal currency if China and BRICs do not want it)
If the Fed stops printing money I bet we will see 10k bitcoin!
