Their application process includes a lengthy series of assessments (first one is 100 question timed math test IIRC). I don't think I've heard of anyone passing the first one. I also read a review once that they install activity trackers on the company issued laptops to track how many breaks you've taken etc. It's possible it isn't even a real company or real job.

A math test ??? For an AE job ???? I would not have been an AE if I were asked to give this test back in the day.

Math and logic if memory serves. A lot of guess the next image in the pattern type of stuff. And then problem sets, and "if Johnny has six apples and sells them for $9", etc. type of stuff. I wouldn't say it was "hard" but it was a lot to try to do in a small time frame.

I can't speak to the detail here but that's definitely accurate - insane process.
This role has been posted about a few times.

Haha. I can share my experience with these guys.
I remember applying for the BD position with USD100k/year last year.

1st test - computer test. 2nd test - English test, record myself speaking about a topic that they give. 3rd test- record 5 5-minute video of me explaining my passion. 4th test - conduct a product presentation (Trello). 5th test - do a sales pitch but counter the arguments given. 6th test - set up my interview with the VP of sales on my own. Took me 1 month to set an interview him.

Then, the interview session - We talked for only 10 minutes then he ended the interview by saying that he didn't think that I could work with him. Just like that.

That sounds like a company that doesn't really have an opening, but if they find "the fit", they might open up a position 100% commission only, so no risk on their part, all on the rep, then fire fast if they aren't happy.

Crossover is an aggregator. @bizzy - do they post the company name along with these job postings of $800k+ OTE?

I went ahead and applied once just to see what happens. That assessment has to be rigged because the questions aren't terribly difficult but the bar always seems to move in terms of passing score lol. It was a fun brain exercise at least.

Saw these guys and it read like a scam. Or they're a recruiting outfit trying to farm out "top sellers". Either way: a scam.

You can make 800k anywhere, in reality its 100k base and OTE is a billion dollars. 0% of our reps hit OTE, but hey, you could!!!!!!!

I see those all the time - def think it’s a scam to just collect a bunch of personal info about you through all their weird tests abs applications. Don’t trust anything that seems easy or too good.

This seems like one of those situations where you are the product. They get a fat candidate pool with a wide array of unreasonably high postings and then take the top 1% selling people’s candidacy off as recruiters. I get the recruitment outbound a ton…
“I have this candidate that is xyzabc etc…”

Yeah I thought it seemed a bit like a scam too. If you read the description it seems the salary is based off what you would earn if you work 52 weeks per year and never take a break.
