That was CEOs initial response. Has morphed to "we got hacked and hundreds of customers impacted".
Yes, but I meant heard from people internally at Okta. But the words definitely came from the CEO.
Interesting -- Considering their biggest competitor got popped by the same 16 year old, they might come away relatively unscathed.

I did for a long time and still have a ton of friends there. They technically didn’t end up hacked so from what I’ve heard it hasn’t been too bad at all. Some support engineer had his laptop taken over while logged in to Okta and that was it

That's what prompted my research actually.
It’s been fine. Lots of customer questions. It’s definitely worth address and talking about but definitely not as big of a deal as everyone is making it. Hacked is just a buzz word used by people jumping to conclusion online.

No and yes. Not hacked, but some customers *possibly* affected to a small degree
I wonder if a specific region is more affected than others.
