I mean as sales savages all weโ€™re trying to do is have a conversation, if they see the value then letโ€™s continue the conversation and if not thatโ€™s ok too, because I have 100 more peeps to call today.

Obviously not the whole thing but I go back to that early cold call scene just to fire me up when Iโ€™m getting ready to dial

Boilerroom, Wolf on Wall Street are the most like the bullpen back in the day at Xerox.

Booger sugar, cars we couldnโ€™t afford, suits, parties, all of it.

Thinking more about this, and Entourage the series, specifically Ari Gold, and it came and went, but How to Make it in America. Both show how to rise and grind.

I would say so - any movie that includes business, motivation, negotiations and human relationships.

Also The Courier is great. A salesman saves the world from nuclear war (true story).

Haven't heard this one yet, and not great for the car sales stereotype but always made me laugh for the antics.

The documentary Salesman (1969) by the Maysles Brothers is the by far the best & most terrifyingly accurate depiction of practicing our craft ever committed to celluloid.

This is not subjective. Tis fact.

The other movies called out here are cool, I like them too. But, I also sincerely believe that anyone entertaining a career in sales should be *forced* to watch this documentary.

And, while Iโ€™m at it, Iโ€™ll make a friendly suggestion to @GeneralCorp & teamโ€ฆ yโ€™all should add this film to the list of prerequisites required to attend Tech Sales U., or work it into the curriculum.

If this doc. doesnโ€™t scare the shit out of you, you only think youโ€™re in sales.

Happy viewing, all!
