Nice work. Congratulations. Things slip. It happens. I did a Sandler training a long time ago .... I can't remember the name now, but the essence of the training focused on emotional intelligence and being able to feel a deal's natural cycle ... the bottom line was some customers will buy when they are good and ready and no amount of pulling, discounting, incentivizing or other "tricks" will pull them forward.
Some later is always better than none now and certainly better than none-ever. You've nailed a win and simultaneously teed up growth down the line. Sounds strategic to me. Keep it up.
