SDRs at my old company would routinely set meetings with closed lost opps telling them we had βnew pricingβ. Technically this was true, our prices were now higher.
If u do any of the above to me, itβs a guaranteed water boarding adventure 4 u. Except I would laugh my ass off if someone referred to my girly af ass as an βaccount daddyβ so I guess thatβs ok.Β
If you call my current accounts you don't need to worry about giving out pricing or discounts, because you'll be in the meat locker so fast your head will spin.
Na Fr though gonna pull an Uno reverse card on this thread. When I get AE's who love meetings but don't really take action. I swear i've never seen an AE make a cold call at my company, I see their calendars they book out like 1 2 hour calling session in a week, has me thinking their pipelines must be so goddamn huge that they don't even need to prospect anymore.Β
I have a local partner in India who I work with who's out here prospecting with me everyday, a few hours at least on a zoom working session where we break into accounts, follow up leads, find the right people, map accounts, expand on inbound leads via information found. Not once have I had an AE that would do that with me, kind of frustrating honestly.Β
But honestly I only bring AE's once we've gotten everything ready for them.Β
