Ill put this in perspective. We are a team of 40 at Bravado Half are engineers with scattered around the world with minimal social skills (sorry team). We have literally THOUSANDS of candidates and hundreds of companies trying to be a part of the hiring platform. Right now its ALL manual. Each single candidate requires 6 people on our end to get them from start to finish. (thats no efficient I know)
Me, Sahil (CEO), Amy (COO), Lisa (VP product), our head of data, our analysts, our ops team, EVERYONE is doing screening calls. I've had like 40 calls a week trying to vet companies to make sure they don't SUCK. Spoiler: MOST DO.
This stuff takes time, people. If you want a new job go get one. It ain't hard. 700k open sales roles in the US alone. Cant promise it will be a good situation, but I promise you can find a job without us.
We are building as much automation as we can and this will get more and more streamlined as we continue to build. But again, I learned changing the fucking color of text can take a week of eng work so you can extrapolate that to building a whole hiring system.
We are hiring. We are building the team. If you told me that after going to Stanford fucking Business School that I'd be a marketer and recruiter post-school I'd have slapped you in the mouth.
But here I am. And we're trying. We're grinding. And I swear on Russian Baby Engineering Jesus we will get this built.

one decent hit. one other positive hit, then got ghosted. doesn't seem much different than anything else. it's a little awkward. the bravado person asks if you're interested, you say yes, 4 days later you get an intro. i'm sure they're refining and improving. but for now it's a bit clunky
Agreed. Ross made a comment above that they’re going through some growing pains. The companies they put forth for me had exceptional potential, backed by great VCs and a compelling value prop. But I’m not a huge fan of the texting, it implies this is going to be a back-and-forth exchange, which it isn’t (Ross explains why above, they’re too inundated).
