I find the Hopin one a little funny. I interviewed with them back in October and they bragged till no end about how awesome they are, how much they're growing, etc, then boom layoffs. dodged a bullet there. turned me down for "not being a culture fit" after several weeks of interviews with them.ย
Exact same shit with me only I interviewed with them back in September. Got the same bull shit about "not being a culture fit". So glad I missed that train.

Havenโt heard of other massive ones, Peloton was painfully obvious and not surprising from the outside looking in. Hopin is very interesting, they got a ton of funding and grew like crazy but seems like they were not smart about that growth and had to cut back because of it.ย
It's a reminder to always be wary.

Exactly. Also, the stronger the network, the tighter the safety net. Iโm trying to build my community and network up so I donโt have to apply to jobs in the future -just leveraging relationships to find the next good fit opportunity.
