I mean, I was born perfect. I'm a 11/10, certified genius, funny as fuck, moms and dads love me, great taste in everything, lady in the streets and a freak at the buffet...I didn't really need any extra help from my career in sales to have a lineup of simps banging down my door.

But yes, it does help to have a sales background. I present myself well, can hold a conversation with just about anyone, know how to act properly in social situations, can remain pleasant in awkward situations to help others save face...all skills that the gen pop sadly seems to lack in. This is why I'm single. Most people don't deserve me.

I'm open to a pitch tho. Where are all the handsome, funny, intelligent brunettes with fat bank accounts and the ability to close deals and open my thighs? HMU

Creating as many at-bats as possible and keeping a resilient, positive approach were my keys to success in love as in sales.

When I was still single and dating, I built a legit pipeline of opportunities, and managed dates like opps.

I guess that's where the comparisons to sales end. I didn't try to sell myself, nor did I try too hard to qualify / disqualify dates - I focused more enjoying each date as an experience, learning something new, having a good time, even if it wasn't the right match.

My resilient and positive attitude kept me in a good headspace throughout that period of dating. I ultimately ended up meeting my husband through a friend of one of those dates. Sales skills --> Dating Skills --> True Love

The only way I would say that sales has helped is in the fact I am killer at keeping a conversation going. Other than that its a lot of "you work to much" or "you need to stop focusing so much on work and live your life". I dont need the hate

Yeah, I get the same reactions as well. I used to very introverted(still kinda am) but when I'm in sales/talking mode, I'm a pretty different person altogether in terms of personality. Does help with the conversations though.

Yes, obviously yes.

Everything from prospecting, discovery, demoing, trial-closing, closing on indifference, prizing techniques, negotiation and mediation. It all helps, especially men imho who don’t come pre-programmed with a lot of this.

With that said, one-nighters aside, who don’t count anyway, I have yet to meet a girl who actually liked the fact that I was in sales. For most women it’s an immediate yellow/red flag, so that’s worth keeping in mind

My late night 2am text messages were some of the most personalised and targeted messages I've ever sent 😂 if I was emotionally invested in my prospects like I was those women in the past my email game would be 🔥.

But I've definitely had the backlash from being in sales , heard the old you sell things to people they don't need mentality or you care too much about money ,you heed to find the right woman
