Deal came in on the last day of March, after our champion told us they were going to sign every day the whole week prior. This was an expansion for the Chinese Dunder Mifflin pilot I closed here back in November. We tried to close in January but got hit with some difficulties including the Canadian Trucker strike and turn-over in the account. It's a 3-year ramping deal, 65K avg. annual contract.
Obvious lesson:
Open the door to the Executive office even when your champions want to keep it closed. You're going to need a line of communication. Sometimes they "don't see the docusign".
A multi-year accelerator and a Q1 spiff means about 19k commish pre-tax and 401k contribution.
