Exactly. A sales person is a sales person no matter who they work for by the way. These guys are not breaking any laws, they are not selling anything illegal or weird. They just signed a contract like most salespeople do, and a compensation plan, and if they are ok posting the stuff they post, what's the issue there. Of course, we are all entitled to have an opinion, but where's the limit between sharing your opinion and just bullying other people because of the job they do or what you actually think about that.
Yup, Gong is printing money right now. Their reps donโt have to worry about demand gen and leads cause everyone wants their shit right now. Itโs like entourage when they couldnโt find weed anywhere and there was 1 guy that had the supply. Gong is that right now. Imagine being chorus and going up against Gongโฆ nightmare
I had to evaluate them for a previous job (fuck that place) and honestly couldn't tell a difference between the products.
Yeah, I donโt know price points or anything but Iโd say if itโs gong vs chorus gong wins the majority of the time due to brand recognition but I could be totally wrong.ย

My buddy is on their marketing team. Big budgets, creative techniques, beloved product. Naturally, this creates hubris that excretes a silicon valley smug cloud due to aggressive self-fart sniffing. But their products are making better sales people which ultimately will level up the quality of sales engagement which decreases hated toward sales from buyers.
