This deal took a lot of planning, starting in September, not the norm for my industry. A lot of product knowledge, design and math were involved. I did have to discount but maintained margin. Homeowner came back very low and I said no calling their bluff. Too much time and effort had already been invested and I wasn't about to short sell myself. After all was said an done, I conceded $2,000.
Discounting is something I will work very hard to avoid heading into next year. This year, just need to make quota!
