Cold brews aren't easy to find in Colombia, which I find odd, they've slowly been introduced but not many coffee shops offer them. They are delicious though.

Make it at home? It’s literally the easiest brew to make yourself…

Steep for 12-16 hours and then pour through a cheese cloth or paper filter. Or just buy a $10-20 carafe that was designed for it

I once mixed the juice of a lemon into a smoothie with like $11 in ingredients. It reacted with the Pea protein powder and produced a product that tasted similar to Satans asshole. Don’t ask me how I know

I buy the cases of Pure Protein shakes, 30g of Protein, 1g Sugar and come in a variety of flavors (I only buy chocolate and vanilla, can mix with anything really). There is no flavor reaction other than pure goodness. 10 out of 10 must try

Grind my own beans and squeeze them lifeless through the Aeropress. Sometimes I bring out my Bialetti if I want dat foam. Keurig/coffee maker coffee tastes like broken dreams now that I've been put onto the good shit and I can't fuck with it at all. Drinking it makes me feel dirty, and not in a sexy way.

Step 1 is to grind the beans. I do have some preground in case of a rushed cup but the fresh grounds are better.

I have a coffee maker (rushed scenario), chemex, French press, and espresso. Just depends on what I’m feeling that day.

In the last 4 years I’ve owned:
- 3 (different) electric drop coffee machines
- 1 traditional pump driven espresso machine with steam wand
- 1 French press
- 2 (different) Moka pots
- A nespresso
- A Turkish coffee Cezvee stove-top pot
- An electric Turkish Coffee Machine (I had to get a voltage converter just to use it)
- A permanent metal-filter Bodum Pourover
- A V60 Pourover with paper filters
- A Melitta Pourover with paper filters
- 1 blade grinder
- 4 (different) conical Burr Grinders


Conclusion:
After all that, the only ones I would go back to are the Bialetti Moka pot, the Turkish Coffee machine and the Melitta Pourover.  Espresso is for cafes. Pourover is the only way I’ll ever brew regular filtered coffee, ever again. It is the gold standard.  I do enjoy the mouthfeel of French press and Pourover with metal filters, but nothing beats paper filters for a daily brew.

The Melitta is my go-to every day brew, with fresh ground coffee. The glass carafe, and plastic brewing cone was a pretentious $14 CAD on Amazon. Though my grinder, and temperature controlled kettle were much more expensive.

Depends on your roast and how you grind your beans. Honestly I as long as my beans are better than an instant mix it doesn't bother me much. If the grind is too coarse then yes it tastes pretty poor.

none of the above. I have a ninja hot + cold brew coffee maker that can do hot coffee, make cold brew, make iced coffee, espresso, and has a milk steamer/frother all built in. 

All those fancy features for me to usually just make normal drip coffee with it and drink it black

I have a coffee bar in my house and make it depending on my mood. Mostly Siphon or Moccamaster drip followed by Espresso via my La Pavoni.

I am a snob about coffee and I’m happy to be one.. but I like to take a different approach and see how good a cup of coffee I can brew with cheap shit versus single origin. Like..can I get maxwell house to taste as good as this bougie stuff.
