What should I do?

Alright savages!

I need some advice here.

I have 2 paths in front of me.

And I would like your advice on the path that will make me the most amount of money in the shortest amount of time, I dont care too much about me balance, hobbies, etc etc etc..

Option 1. Go into high ticket closing for a massive influencer - I had a small coaching business I was a small influencer I did 6 figures in sales with this business in a year with very little effort. But I stopped and worked at a start up and I quit that business.

So I am thinking now If I find a massive coach/influencer. I can work for them and learn the ropes and then start another coaching business and scale to 7-8 figures etc......

I already tried this path (option 1) , and it didnt work out, so I am now thinking about option 2.

Option 2. Get into tech sales. I worked at multiple start-ups in sales and interned at Google in sales.

What option would you pick and why? TO MAXIMISE your chances of making as much money as possible.

I know I haven't included much info in here and of course, balance etc, matters but I am isolating the situation to money only.

High ticket influencer sales reeks of scams and will limit options long term

2 - I firmly believe the music is about to stop playing for dumb crap like "coaching" once the recession hits. But I am biased as almost every person I know who is a sales coach or life coach is an absolute moron.

Roger that, having said that you can still make a ton of money fast, I have seen it

Grab the money while it's there (like you said it is) and leverage those skills to do tech sales as well.

If you were doing 6 figures in sales with very little effort why did you stop?

I had other biz ideas in mind at the time, so I was unfocused etc and when I met the CEO of the start up I worked at, he freaking sold me on the vision like crazy so I quit for bigger better things

What kind of pitch made you leave company where you were earning 6 figures working a few hours a week?

Why would you say that?

Influencer sales seems like a pipe dream, tech sales is likely more established and all.

Option 2 will open more doors for your career in the long term. I personally would never buy or sell one of those big ticket closer packages. They tout their experience then off load all the sales to "contractors", run a ton of ads etc etc. if you want to build a career tech sales has more optionality.

It sounds like you just answered your own question. Path 1 did not work, so try out Path 2?

Why wouldn't you go back to what you were doing for 6 figures? Why do you need somebody else to bring you up? If you were already successful - what is stopping you from picking that back up?

I'm confused about this as well...

A few things, if I can work with a master I can learn the everything and this time do it my self but at a higher level. There is a small chance I can do it again myself but its been almost a year since I sold any coaching.

What went wrong the first time with option 1 and how would this time be different?

So I didnt work with the influencer for long enough because he had shitty products and terrible leads and I quit. If I find a better influencer with a great product and super warm leads, I can close like crazy and then copy their strategies for another coaching business.

"made 6 figures ..with very little effort" ... "it didn't work out"... confused. IF you did not truly apply yourself, how can you say it did not work out? (Full Disclosure... I am a Business Coach and Sales Trainer and obviously never met butwhy... LOL)

So I did 6 figures in sales whilst working on 2-3 other projects at the same time; that's what I mean when I say I didn't fully apply my self and saw "better" opportunities and jumped boats.

2 - I have not yet witnessed one honest influencer with an Oz of integrity. They scam their fans, what makes you think they won't do it to you :c
